ABOUT

A musician since the age of 4, Allen began his journey on classical piano and writing synth riffs with his Casio keyboard, recording them on his Sony tape player, and mailing them to his uncle in L.A. He also made his mom make him a silver sequence glove like his idol Michael Jackson. By the time he was a teenager, he was a rock n roller, feeding off Led Zeppelin II, Bold As Love, Rubber Soul and other classic albums.

After studying music production at Berklee in Boston, Allen went on to work as a composer and music producer in the industry, all the while always playing his music live. Over time, his love for analog recording progressed to him purchasing a vintage Trident 80 console (serial #1!) previously owned by MJ’s music director, and in a twist of fate, early childhood dreams came true.

Allen’s poetic, melodic and often dreamy songwriting tells of life experiences and impressions of the deeper things behind the veil. Heartland rock, British rock, cosmic country, electric blues and maybe a little emo rock too all find their place in his guitar-driven, expressive sound. Allen essentially feels through writing, singing and playing music, and believes artistic expression should be honest, and it’s message and affect timeless.

Originally hailing from Eastern Pennsylvania, and by way of Boston and Los Angeles, Carrescia brings his organic rock n roll style to Music City, where he now calls home. Look for him and his band playing in and around Nashville this Spring ‘26!

Allen’s vintage British console has some cool history. It is the first serial number of its kind and originally went to Los Angeles. Then ended up being owned by Michael Jackson’s music director – and yes, MJ used it!
